WHEN LOOKING for Direction, look no further My name is Effie Gardner, I am an intuitive psychic and clairvoyant. Saying that a person is a born psychic is like telling them that they were born as a human infant. A professional intuitive psychic or clairvoyant on the other hand, means that the person is accessing their natural and normal senses like any other person. Then our psychic ability can be nurtured, cultivated and developed like everything else people do (e.g: most children like to doodle almost as soon as they discover that their hands can be used for many purposes. Some like drawing as a hobby, but as they grow their talents are channeled elsewhere and/or make a living through their talent. A precious few become inspirational. Developing my natural capacities is a matter of choice just like that of an artist. My preferred title to describe my professional capacity is Intuitive psychic and I use the tarot cards for readings. This is simply an accurate perspective of the work I do. The cards are not supernatural nor should they be used for entertainment. Professional tarot reading is the same as any other vocation for helping others. The cards help me focus and direct my concentration. They convey to me ideas and images to help me interpret abstract concepts to translate clients (later, I may refer to clients as seekers or enquirers). Some psychics call this being a clear channel of universal communication. For me psychic awareness is like tuning a transistor radio to a broadcasting station for an appropriate or specific wavelength on behalf of an enquirer. Intuitive perceptions are a subtle radio waveband that is constantly broadcasting frequency and some are more sensitive to them then others. If my preference is BBC's Radio 4 program then tuning to that channel allows reception but this cannot be controlled externally. All my readings give due attention when it indicate immediate concerns as the seeker could be sensitive about this. But our lives are here, now and on this plane. So, there is little point in just waiting for a celestials host to sort-out our challenges. Because the first universal law states that even the most advanced celestials host cannot interfere human lives, the second law says that if the enquirer cannot be bother to take action to deal with things they might as well wait for a very long time indeed. Sometime a reading can be most frustrating as its contents makes little or no sense to me, especially when things are yet to pass. But if messages do come from spirit, it is my choice how to pass them on. When others are involved with a seeker's situation but are not present, additional care will be given to address matters. For example:
Often people ask me where my information is coming from. As readings rarely make sense to me, it is for the seeker to understand when the time comes. I accept that a perception that is yet to pass, it will become clearer. It is not necessary for me to have a spread of cards in front of me, but they help to keep a logical track. Having a tarot card reading is not like things being carved on a stone slab. Readings are like a map that outlines a vast number of routes to get us to our destination. I was reading for a woman and to everything said to her she emphatically nodded her head. We briefly spoke after the reading, the cards provided her clarity on her situation and she was very pleased. Just before she left she asked: "Do you think that I should wait six months as the outcome card indicated?" This greatly concerned me, because the cards did indicated that things will indeed work out one way or another in six months. But she did not have the luxury of a moment to waste, otherwise it would be someone else reaping the rewards that were rightfully hers. In another reading a young man took a picture of the spread and he came back to tell me that he had, shown this to another reader who interpreted them in an entirely opposite way to me. When asked which interpretation was more useful to him he had to admit that it was mine. But he wanted further clarifications and since the time has passed this was no longer relevant to his circumstances. The cards do not flatter and do not tell us what we would rather hear. The cards do not force us to do anything nor do they have any hidden powers. They only provide information and it is up to each seeker to choose what direction of action to take. you may ask would it benefit me TO have A PSYCHIC reading ? When interpreting the cards, they may indicate to me to talk about immediately useful issues that need acting up on. The message may convey information about past, present and future events. A seeker may want confirmation on a specific question, an idea how to move forwards or just a fresh view point about resolving a problem. Maybe a seeker is already fully in touch with their own sixth sense, have an intuitive or a gut feeling about a specific concern and are in need of further clarification but they for some reason could not trust their own intuition and feel confused. Some clients want to start up a project they dream about and want to fulfill an ambition but feel unsure where to start. Regardless what your questions are or what you hope to find an answer for, a reading could facilitate you, reassure you, give you a sense of purpose or assist you in creating balance within your own affairs. After a reading some feel that they can take better control of their destiny, tap into a universal source of abundance or open up to their own resourcefulness. Others may have opened up to their own inner guidance which is always accessible, available and truthful at all times. A psychic reading is a point of guidance. A tarot spread is like snapshot in time that is depicting what is now and the picture changes consistently, whereas a the intuitive's role is just that of a messenger (or a clear channel of the universal source). PSYCHIC READINGS - v - OTHER READING There are many ways to described a reading: Clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, PSYCHIC Guidance, mediumistic or channeling universal communication. These words hold no hidden powers, no superior systems accessible to a chosen few or those born to it (a family line so to speak). Other title vary greatly and depend on the meaning their reader places on them: Psychic Counsellor, Life force healing, Reader of tea leaves, Clear channel, Crystal healer, Aura-some, Angel reader/healer, Light worker, Wicca, Chakra/Aura clearing, Clairvoyant, Clairaudient, Clairsentient, Palm-readers Astrologer, Healer, Spiritualists, Mediums, Reading Angel cards, Reincarnations, Past life regressions and many others. Names distinguish between things, objects, individuals and forms. What makes a reading one or another is the way they are interpreted and how an intuitive explains the work they do. The difference between an intuitive person and a professional psychics is in their ability to remain objective. To avoid confusion, my words are phrased in everyday language without time devoted to make seekers see things from my perspective or attempting to convince people that my sources are superior to others. CAN CARDS OFFER INSIGHT, AWARENESS, PEACE OF MIND AND HELP decision MAKING ? The cards in themselves cannot do anything! However, people find that at some point a reader can provide reassuring insights to individuals from all walks of life:
A tarot spread will not sort out things for you any more than another approach without you having a goal and taking action towards that end. Tarot reading is not about religion, blind faith nor is to cast in stone. People have the freedom to choose to do things or not and to direct their lives or not. A reading may provide confirmation, reassurance or direction on to a happier, healthier and a more satisfying life path. The cards or reader may say that there is a celestial host ready and willing to show you the way! And that of course could be so! But in my experience, your active participation or not is still required. But life will go on regardless. In other words, you could be sitting in your room on your birthday and bemoan that a special card or gift from a desired individual did not arrive in time. However, if you also keep shouting "Go away, I am too busy suffering in here" every time your door bell rings, this is all that will happen. A fairy godmother might want to knock down your front door to deliver what you most want, something as good as or even better, but you must open your door to her first. There could be a whole celestial host at your door, but fortunately they do not and cannot live life for us humans. For all we know they are here, willing and (if we believe in that sort of thing), they would be able help in subtle ways or fulfill some breath taking act on your behalf especially when you do your share too. So do not think or decide off-hand that your interests, challenges, issues or problems are too trivial or too difficult to shed light upon...
